The senior housing development at 383 6th Avenue, formerly known as 4200 Geary Boulevard, in San Francisco’s Richmond District is a seven-story, 100% affordable community delivering nearly 100 homes for low-income seniors, including residents exiting homelessness and senior veterans.
Developed by Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corp (TNDC) as an urban infill project on the former site of a mortuary, the building reflects the impact of San Francisco’s $600 million affordable housing bond.
Designed to achieve GreenPoint Rated Multifamily Platinum, the all-electric, fossil-fuel-free building exceeds state energy standards and prioritizes healthy indoor air quality, non-toxic materials, water-efficient fixtures, and ENERGY STAR appliances.
