- Meets ICC 700 Mandatory Measures
- Roofing warranty for shingle roofing
- Meet ASHRAE 62.2-2016 Ventilation Residential Standards
- Home Outperforms ASHRAE 90.1-2010 or HERS Index
- GreenPoint Rated Checklist in Blueprints – keeps the team on the same page which is good for timeline and keeping costs down
- Green Appraisal Addendum
A GreenPoint Rated National New Home Single Family system is not yet available.
GreenPoint Rated New Home California has been aligned with the 2019 California Energy Code and the required green measures outlined in CalGreen, California’s unique sustainability code that incorporates efficiency features that help improve the occupants’ health, comfort, and the home’s holistic environmental footprint.
- Meets CALGreen’s mandatory measures
- Roofing warranty for shingle roofing
- Meet ASHRAE 62.2-2016 Ventilation Residential Standards
- Home Outperforms California’s 2019 energy code, Title 24 Part 6 (if mixed fuel) or is all-electric
- Title 24 is prepared and signed by a CABEC Certified Energy Analyst (currently California code requirement)
- GreenPoint Rated Checklist in Blueprints – keeps the team on the same page which is good for timeline and keeping costs down
- Green Appraisal Addendum
All same requirements as multifamily, except does not require warranty on shingle roof.
